“And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.” Revelation 21:5.

It was so appropriate, as we celebrated Christmas and New Years Eve, that we had 3 new babies (Nyla, Jeremiah and Malachi) at Progressive Baptist Church (PBC) in this season. The birth of Christ and the new year bring new life, new opportunities, new potential, new hope, and new possibilities.
Let’s us rest in anticipation of God’s newness!

Buffalo Blizzard
Thank you for your prayers for my family in Buffalo. Thankfully, all of my relatives survived the blizzard, power outages and freezing temperatures. But, tragically, over 40 people have been identified as having lost there lives in the freezing weather. This is on the heels of the racist terror attack in the fall at the Tops grocery store that killed 10 Buffalo residents.
Buffalo is not without good news though. We are thankful that the young man who collapsed during the football game, Damar Hamlin, due to cardiac arrest is making an amazing and prayerful recovery— to God be the glory.
Love you all, Pastor
