Health & Wellness Ministry
Our Mission: Serving & working together to enhance the wellbeing of the body of Christ.
The Health and Wellness Ministry was established nearly 16 years ago under the leadership of Pastor Rolen Womack. It was initially called the “nurse ministry”. However, as our mission continued to evolve to meet the health and wellness needs of our church family on many different levels, it was decided to change the name to the Health and Wellness Ministry. Our first meeting was December 5th, 2000 with the goal to be organized by January 1, 2001. We werepresented to the church February 2001.
The purpose of our ministry remains the same throughout the years;
To educate and bring to the attention of our congregation and others – matters related to health issues through various different platforms – such as utilizing the skills of health care professionals and share current health related issues and research to our church family and the community.

Health & Wellness
Spiritual Wellness is the ability to establish peace and harmony in our lives.
This quarter the topic is God’s Glory.
Definition: God’s glory is the display of His greatness, goodness, and beauty so that persons are aware of Him thought sensory experiences such as sight and sound. To glorify God means to respond t His revealed glory in the ways Scripture teachers, such as praise, love, joy and obedience.
Reflection: Which displays of God’s greatness, goodness, and beauty have moved you the most? How can you be more intentional about glorifying God day by day? Do you enjoy God? How?

Physical Wellness is the ability to maintain a healthy quality of life that allows us to get through our daily activities without undue fatigue or physical stress.
