Good evening Progressive family,

We pray you are well.  We look forward to celebrating the 12th year anniversary of “the marriage” between church and pastor.  It will exactly 12 years from the date of installation on October 8, 2011.  It has been a blessed journey and I have been honored, humbled and blessed to be called of God to serve this beautiful community of believers.

I am amazed by how much we have done during the journey and also that that 25% of the 12 years was spent navigating the pandemic.  We are thankful for the new season in the journey and what the Lord has in store for us in the next 12 years.  This Sunday, Minister Greg Lewis will be bring the word from Philippians 3:12-14 from the subject, “Press On!.”  Minister Lewis is an associate minister at St. Gabriel Church of God and Christ and also the President of Souls to the Polls

Youth Saturday 10-14-23

Make sure to have all Progressive youth join us next Saturday from 10:30 – 11:30. The subject will be “Understanding Salvation” and led by youth leader, Demetrous Elam, Jr. Food will be provided

  • Pastoral Anniversary: Congratulations Pastor Walter & 1st Lady Nichole Lanier celebrating 12 years as Pastor and 1st Lady of Progressive Baptist Church.
